Quantum Physics and Logic (QPL) is an annual conference that brings together academic and industry researchers working on mathematical foundations of quantum computation, quantum physics, and related areas. The main focus is on the use of algebraic and categorical structures, formal languages, semantic methods, as well as other mathematical and computer scientific techniques applicable to the study of physical systems, physical processes, and their composition. Work applying quantum-inspired techniques and structures to other fields (such as linguistics, artificial intelligence, and causality) is also welcome. In 2022 it takes place in Oxford from 27 June to 1st July.
NEASQC partners Université de Lorraine and EDF have a research paper accepted at QPL 2022: “Addition and differentiation of ZX-diagrams” by Emmanuel Jeandel, Simon Perdrix and Margarita Veshchezerova. It will be presented on 29 June at 9:30 BST.
